SUNNY 105.7/WCSN 30TH BIRTHDAY BASH
DETAILED CONTEST RULES
1. How to Enter the Contest:
A. The contest will begin on JUNE 22ND, 2026 and end on AUGUST 1ST, 2026.
B. To participate in the contest, listen for the “cue to call” on SUNNY 105.7/WCSN between 6am and 7pm each weekday between the contest dates.
C. Correct caller (random number, varies) will win a $30 gift card and admission for two as VIPs at the Birthday Bash. Qualifier will be given a chance to win one of various prize packages through random drawing, and a chance to win a cash prize (not guaranteed) through a dice roll game to be held on August 1st at Big Beach Brewing Company (300 E 24th Ave, Gulf Shores, AL 36542)
D. Limit one (1) entry per person, and limit one (1) entry per household. Entrants may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sunny 105.7/WCSN.
E. No purchase is necessary. Purchase does not increase chances of winning. The contest is void where prohibited.
2. Eligibility Restrictions:
A. The contest is open to all contest participants age 18 or older.
B. Employees, officers, and directors of Portside Media, Sunny 105.7/WCSN, any sponsors of the contest and their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, dealers, retailers, and promotion agencies, any and all other companies associated with this contest, and the members of the immediate families or households of any of the above are NOT eligible. Immediate family shall include spouse, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren and any other person residing within the same household.
C. Listeners are eligible to qualify as a VIP for this contest only once. Only one (1) winner per household is permitted as a qualifier.
D. While Sunny 105.7/WCSN limits winners of on-air contests once in 30 days, winners of other Sunny 105.7/WCSN contests are eligible to play and win the Sunny 30th Birthday Bash Contest and any secondary prizes.
3. Birthday Bash Prize Giveaway Game Rules:
A. Birthday Bash will be held at Big Beach Brewery, 300 E 24th Ave., Gulf Shores, Alabama, on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 3 to 5 p.m.
B. Registration will open at 2:45 p.m. On air qualifiers MUST CHECK IN by no later than 3:15 p.m. at the designated Check-In/Registration Table at Big Beach Brewery to claim their spot as a VIP.
C. Qualifiers must show a valid drivers license upon check in. No proxies or stand-ins will be accepted. If qualifier is unable to attend or check in by 3:15 p.m., their spot will be forfeited.
D. Qualifiers who DO NOT check in by 3:15 p.m. will fully forfeit their space as a VIP and in contest participation at Big Beach.
E. All attendees who did not qualify on-air can register for the second chance drawing, by submitting their name at the designated space by 3:15 p.m.
F. A second chance drawing will be held at Big Beach Brewing among non-qualifying guests. Eligibility restrictions will be enforced, with the exception of one winner per household. The drawing will be held at 3:20 p.m.
G. Second chance winners will be required to check in with their name, phone number, and email address and agree to the rules and eligibility requirements of the contest prior to participating.
4. Grand Prizes
A. Guaranteed winner grand prizes include, but may not be limited to:
- Recliner provided by Seacrest Furniture ($1200 value)
- $500.00 gift card from J&M Tackle
- Gas grill ($1,500.00 value) provided by CMC Gas, along with a $250.00 gift card from Meat Mart Orange Beach
- Spa package provided by Gulf Coast Wellness and Recovery ($500 value)
- 4 rounds of golf and cart rental provided by Gulf Links Golf Course ($200 value)
B. Each qualifying and second chance contestant will draw a random number, 1-30. That number will correspond to an envelope. Envelope contents will reveal either a winning prize or a thank you for attending. Some envelopes may not include a prize.
C. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, video, picture or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.
D. Winners must accept delivery of prizes as instructed by Sunny 105.7/WCSN. All other costs related to prize delivery and acceptance is the responsibility of winners including but not limited to all federal state and local taxes. All properly claimed prizes will be awarded. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted, except at Sunny 105.7/WCSN or sponsor’s discretion, or as provided herein. Sunny 105.7/WCSN reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable.
E. Sunny 105.7/WCSN reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify the contest rules and dates at any time for any reason. Material modifications shall be announced on-air, when practical. By participating in this contest, you agree to be bound by these contest rules, any modifications thereof, and by all other rules imposed by Sunny 105.7/WCSN’s management.
F. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of Sunny 105.7/WCSN.
G. Sunny 105.7/WCSN is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
5. Odds On Promotions Dice Roll Game Rules:
A. Contestants are selected randomly and cannot be current or former WCSN/Portside Media employees, family members of current or former employees; nor employees, family members, agents, successors or assignees of any promotional partner involved with the contest.
B. Contestant must agree to be on camera during the entire duration of their dice roll turn. This includes while signing the binder, rolling the dice, and result.
C. Immediately prior to rolling the dice, the contestant must enter their name, signature, and daytime telephone number in the official Contestant Sign-In Binder.
D. No contestant can roll prior to the sign-in official, promotion official, and video operator confirm everything is ready.
E. All six dice must be rolled/thrown at the same time, from the designated cup.
F. No part of the contestant’s body or clothing may touch the demarcation lines before the dice are released.
G. Each die must come to rest at least two feet from where the roll began, and must make at least two rotations in the air for a valid roll. Rolls that do not meet these requirements will count as a roll, but will not be eligible to win the cash prize.
H. Upon rolling, the upward-facing sides must ready S-U-N-N-Y-FM when they come to rest in order to win the $30,000 prize. Dice may not be moved or altered.
I. If any die is stacked or leaning, the entire roll is void and the contestant receives a replacement roll with all six dice.
J. If contestant wins, Odds on Promotions may conduct a reasonable investigation including but not limited to requiring Sunny 105.7/WCSN, the Winner and/or Promotion Officials for polygraph examination as a condition of payment of claim IF, in the sole opinion of OOP such an examination is warranted by the fact.
I. Odds of winning are 1 in 46,656 per roll.
6. Conditions:
A. Grand prize winner(s) will be required to complete a W-9 form (if prize value exceeds $600.00), and present a valid driver’s license before prize will be awarded. Winners of prizes greater than $600.00 will be issued a 1099 form reflecting the value of the prize(s) and are responsible for paying all income taxes on prize(s).
B. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold Big Beach Brewing Company, promotion sponsors, Sunny 105.7/WCSN, its licensee, their affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents, and representatives of each harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
. C. Once claimed, prize(s) become the sole property of the winner. Station and affiliate sponsors take no control, responsibility nor liability of the use of prize(s) after they are awarded.
D. The winner will not hold station or affiliate sponsors responsible for any taxes, injury or expenses incurred while utilizing prize(s).
E. Copies of the written contest rules are available during regular business hours at the main studio of Sunny 105, 2421 E 2nd Street Gulf Shores, Alabama, or by sending a self –addressed stamped envelope to Sunny 105, PO Box 36, Gulf Shores, AL 36547. Rules will also be available online at www.sunny1057.com.
F. Sunny 105.7/WCSN reserves the right to make changes to the contest. Decisions of Sunny 105.7/WCSN with respect to the contest are final.
